Obamas Juggle Inaugural Balls Headline is Just The Start

Apparently, there were balls involved, and the Obamas were juggling them. I doubt this is the first time anything freaky has gone down in the White House, but maybe the first time it was posted on CNN. But, it is not as weird as it sounds. Pres. Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama spend the evening on January 20th dancing at inaugural balls. CNN put up and quickly pull down the headline below about the Obamas juggling balls. Now "The Love Doctor" on Fox News is talking about Obama and Michelle’s love life and discussing their fisting technique. Sen. John McCain Will Go Down As America's Greatest Footnoted Loser

John McCain must have had a blast watching the events of yesterday. He better hope history forget him because he will be known as that white dude that lost to the first "black" president, a footnote. The last thing a man who seek the White House want is to be is a footnote. In other McCain news, John McCain's wife Cindy was set to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars until Mr. Party Pooper had to go and ruin everything. The New York Post reports:

Our impeccably placed source says, "Just before Thanksgiving, Cindy McCain started talks with producers to appear as a dancer onthe show. She wanted to do it very badly." But this week, Sen. McCain "put the kibosh on it." Reps for the show and McCain didn't return calls.

A spokesperson for TV channel ABC, which broadcasts the show, said they would "not comment on casting rumors." But can you really blame John for not letting his wife on the show? Oprah Winfrey Smoked Crack Cocaine with Ex-Lover

One of Oprah's ex-lovers (I know, I was equally surprised they existed), is shopping around a tell-all book intitled ‘The Wizard of O: My Life With Oprah, her ex-lover,’ about the chat queen that features a startling revelation: Oprah Winfrey hit the crack pipe as recently as 1984. Landis Randolph Cook has written a book outlining his days as the boyfriend of Oprah. In the book he details how Oprah showed him how to freebase cocaine, and wild nights of sex. Cook also claims that Oprah “was still under the influence while doing her show.” Cook who has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer supposedly only has two years to live. Oprah confessed to her audience she briefly used cocaine in the 1970s. At the time she blamed it on her desperate obsession with a man who was a drug user.

But in his blockbuster sex-and-drug tell-all The Wizard of O: My Life With Oprah, her ex-lover, Chicago businessman Randolph Cook, makes the stunning disclosure that the talk queen resumed her cocaine habit during their secret affair which began in 1984. Cook, 51, also claims the media mogul taught him how to smoke crack cocaine, and the two "freebased" the drug regularly during their passionate six-month romance and the talk show titan "was still under the influence while doing her show."

"Defendant admits that she and Cook had sexual relations."

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Cook talks about his time with Winfrey during their secret affair, which started in 1984. Oprah should know that blame is what losers do, and winners take responsibility for their own actions. Be a winner Oprah, don’t blame an ex boyfriend for your actions.

Roland Burris And His Grand Mausoleum is Blagojevich's Gift To America, And A Fuck You Back At You Blago

One of the more bizarre pieces of information to be made public on Senator in waiting, Roland Burris, age 71, are reports of his already constructed mausoleum listing his achievements. Roland Burris, Gov. Rod Blagojevich's controversial choice to replace President-elect Barack Obama in the US Senate, has already begun work on his memorial in Oak Woods Cemetery on Chicago's South Side. His tombstone boldly proclaims, "TRAIL BLAZER" and includes a list of his accomplishments, with space left for future ones. Burris built a mausoleum to himself with a list of his accomplishments he prefixes with "First African-American in Illinois to become." Dude, no joke but Governor Rod Blagojevich is my favorite American politician today.

If it was not for Blago, I would have never known Roland Burris ever existed and that would be a damn shame. This is Gov. Rod Blagojevich way of saying "Fuck You" to all of America in his last days in office and probably his last days of freedom. I love this dude because if I was in his shoes (facing up to 20 years in prison) I would be throwing firebomb too. LOL... Roland Burris has erected a grand mausoleum for himself, carved with the words "TRAIL BLAZER" and a long list of his achievements, with a space left for his more recent accomplishments. So, the question now is how Roland Burris, Illinois's newest senator, plans to update his pre-carved mausoleum?

He was pretty clever: leaving just enough space to allow an additional line or two, while still preserving a decent overall appearance in case he didn't have anything else to add before he died. I admire that kind of forethought.


But Burris carved himself into a corner when he set up his bullet list with the label "First African-American in Illinois to become"...

Because now he's a U.S. senator, which is a pretty big deal and definitely would make the list of things to put on your mausoleum but he's not the first African-American senator from Illinois by a long shot.

What to do, what to do? Oh, I know!


He’s definitely fit to serve in the U.S. Senate with the other egos.

On December 14, 2008, Burris suggested himself as a possible caretaker for the United States Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama, saying he would not run for reelection if appointed. This suggestion came in the wake of an FBI investigation regarding charges of corruption by the Governor for seeking bribes in a pay-to-play scheme for the empty Senate seat and other offenses. Burris himself has not been implicated in the scheme or accused of any wrongdoing. On December 30, 2008, Governor Blagojevich announced that he was naming Burris to the seat.

On January 5, 2009, Secretary of the United States Senate Nancy Erickson rejected Burris' certificate of appointment to the Senate as invalid. Erickson cited Senate Rule 2 as the reason for the rejection. Senate Rule 2 requires that the certificate be signed by both a state's governor and the state's secretary of state. Because Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White had refused to sign the certificate, Erickson concluded in her findings that the certificate did not conform to Senate Rule 2. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid agreed with Erickson.

Legal experts have differing opinions on whether the Illinois Secretary of State's signature is required by both the United States Constitution and Illinois law. In an interview aired on National Public Radio on December 30, 2008, the former Illinois governor James R. Thompson said that the certification of the governor's choice is a routine administrative matter and not at the Secretary of State's discretion. Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White said that he believes his signature is "mostly ceremonial, rather than a point of law." White maintained that he would not sign a certification for anyone appointed by Blagojevich, including Burris, unless compelled to do so by a court. On January 9, 2009, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled that the governor's appointment does not require any additional certification.

Reid initially said that the Senate would not seat Burris, citing Article I, Section 5 of the United States Constitution, which states that "Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members". Reid and other senators had previously stated, before Burris was in contention, that they would use Article I authority against any appointment by Blagojevich. The Senate may also refer the appointment to the Rules Committee, thus stalling it until Blagojevich's status is settled.

Burris filed a lawsuit with the Illinois Supreme Court to compel White to certify his appointment documentation and appeared in Washington at the January Congressional swearing-in ceremony (January 6) to claim his seat, but was denied entry into the Senate chambers. Wow, wow... What the hell is going on in Illinois? Its like a fucking third world country in the middle of Africa or Latin America or one of those crazy Eastern European countries. But, did you see that amazing Chicago Senate appointment news conference? Troubled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (I love this dude) has just defied all and appointed a successor to fill Barack Obama's vacant U.S. Senate seat, a seat the governor is charged with trying to sell to the highest bidder. Blagojevich named former Illinois Attorney General and fellow Democrat Roland Burris, 71 yeard old, to the seat vacated by President-elect Obama, also a Democrat. I have always thought that New Jersey (Hudson county mainly) as the most corrupt state in America but Illinois (Chicago) is a true contender. I know Obama is pulling out his hair right about now.

U.S. Senate Democratic Leaders have vow to block Roland Burris from being seated just moments after he was appointed.

Blagojevich was arrested earlier this month on federal charges that he tried to sell or trade the seat to the highest bidder. Blagojevich has denied wrongdoing and vowed to stay in office.

Blagojevich's lawyer had said earlier that the governor did not plan to defy the Senate leaders and impose an Obama successor on them.

Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has said that Illinois Gov. Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn should make the appointment, and the Senate Democratic caucus signed a letter supporting that option.

Reid said in a letter to the governor: "Please understand that should you decide to ignore the request of the Senate Democratic Caucus and make an appointment we would be forced to exercise our Constitutional authority under Article I, Section 5, to determine whether such a person should be seated."

Blagojevich's lawyer, Ed Genson, had told a news conference Dec. 17 that the governor did not plan to try to make the appointment. "Harry Reid said that they're not going to accept anybody, so why would he do that?" Genson said.

Blagojevich announced the appointment at a 3:00 p.m. news conference, defying his critics at home and in Washington.

Burris became the first black politician to win statewide office when he was elected comptroller in 1978 — the first of three terms. He served one term as the state's attorney general, but he failed in three attempts at the Democratic nomination for governor, losing to Blagojevich in 2002.
