Kelly Rutherford, who is currently playing Blake Lively’s mother on Gossip Girl, has filed for divorce from her extremely effeminate looking husband on Friday. His name, should you care, is Daniel Giersch, and he is the father of Kelly’s 2-year-old son, the still breast-fed Hermes Gustaf Daniel Giersch. Yeah, the boy is two years old and still breastfeeding. To make the situation even more awkward, Kelly is three months pregnant with a second child, but still filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences.”
So which is irreconcilable for Kelly: a) her husband is secretly gay, b) her new baby isn’t your gay husband’s, c) he really just want her to stop breastfeeding his 2-year-old son because he known first hand its going to make him totally gay, d) he wants another man to join them in the bedroom. Really, all four options are acceptable grounds for divorce. BTW, Rutherford spent only five months being married to first husband Carlos Tarajano before they divorced in January 2002.
